With the employee demographics swinging in favour of GenY, the impact has been shocking in some sectors as activism approaches militant levels with grave consequences. The creation of leadership vaccum at Unionised levels and the spread of activism to New Economy Industries has resulted in increasing tension in the Employee relations area. Acquiring the best employee resources remains a daunting task for the firms, and making them stick with the firm for a longer stint becomes a daunting task for many Organisations. What better mechanism can be put in place so that the employees remain committed to the organizations?
